Texture and Nik Efex Pro in CS3 - My senior from this weekend wanted a picture next to this and I did not like it really so I decided to jazz it up a bit.

Nice, but I like the second one. I think I would like the first one more if not for the skin tone of the neckand left hand. The left hand is very distracting, it's almost as if it is deformed. I can see in the #2 shot that she has long slender fingers. I just don't know how to tell you to fix the shot, Maybe just lightning the texture in that area some.

Thanks for sharing both of them.

i agree. i like the wall better in the first shot, but i think the tone is distracting on her person (skin).

You've got a halo around the (our) left side of her head. I assume that's from a mask you used to keep the effect off of her face? Maybe you could tighten up that side to remove the halo, and then extend the mask to include all of her instead of just her face. That would address the objections about her skin tone on her neck and face (I agree with those ... she looks almost decaying on her hand).

Just my $0.02

Thanks everyone. I will clean it up more. I realize the look is not for everyone I just thought it was better than the wall the way it was.
