Boutwell Cinnamon Toast Action, Pro Retouch, Increase saturation a tad, Doge, and Clone Tool. I need to touch up the clone tool at the bottom a tad.

Here I like the after, like the added color to the walls and she has beautiful eyes. You captured them very nicely

I love what those can do to a photo! Awesome. I created a similiar action to the Pro Retouch. It doesn't have the detail breakdown quite as much, but you can achieve the exact same effect. I use it on every portrait. Nice work.

the color and image are nice i REALLY like the warm tone of the subject. i just would like to see a different crop where she is in the first third of it instead of in the middle. i do not think you need so much wall to the left of her. watch your cloning. the edge of the cloned wall is fuzzy and irregular, needs to be sharp like the rest of it. and the halo around her is a tad to bright for my liking as well. nice pic overall just needs some tweaks in my opinion.

like is said before it is a solid photo just needs to be cleaned up a bit. the crop and halo are totally up to you... if you like it in the middle keep it!

Personally I find that much halo distracting, at least in that photo. But in general that second image blows the first away. It's great!

hey..
i really dig the majority of the post work done. i think the post done on the face is a little weak. it does tend to look a little fake, but i'd say the majority of the other parts of the photo seem very natural. perhaps, try blending some more textures over that area of the bottom-left corner where the metal sheeting was?

other than that, great job!

Actually, that pillar guard doesn't look bad and can be worked right into the image. I took your original, cropped it, and ran an Urban Acid action on it followed by a Gothic Glow action, and it turned out pretty nice--pillar guard and all. :-)

Great shot!!! - 10-05-2007, 08:12 AM

Paul, I agree that the Halo is a little distracting, I might just take it out all together and see what that looks like, also, post another edit with the suggested cropping, put her in the left third of the photo. Color is awsome, great shot!!! After looking more at the photo, what does it look like with the metal guard left in the shot with the color change?
