I had tried just flipping one side of the door, but I couldn't get it to line up correctly. The trick ended up being getting the stones on each side of the door exactly the same width. Make sense? I'm not great at explaining stuff.
My first guess was the same as Tom's but my second choice would have been what you did.

Great job on it! Gotta love photoshop, practically anything is possible!

Matt, I love photoshop too! I'm just blundering my way through it right now. I usually don't have a clue how to do something until I have to figure it out. That door taught me so much.

Rachel, what are you not happy with?

The only thing i see is the doors look sorta... concaved in a way or something. I tried real quick with a free photoshop knock off (PAINT.NET) but it looks like you split the image right in the middle of the doors. I tried just the right side of the image, and copied from the middle of the right door along the split of the boards. and it seemed to have helped that a bit. Just a idea.. i didn't go far enough to see if it will ultimately look better or worse.. i'll be playing with that when i get home for fun tho heh.

g'luck

Here's another one for the same company. It isn't great, but it was a practice run. We're re-shooting this house after it's finished. This one actually required quite a bit of cloning, too, since the hot spot was on both doors.

Well, its the down and dirty tricks like what you did that help bring the perception of what is, into the representation of what it really looks like.

Great job on the second one also.
