CS3 problem - 10-15-2007, 04:12 PM

I recently started using CS3 and I'm running into a problem. I normally batch process several images all at once using Bridge. The problem I'm noticing is that if I select a group of images and go to Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor, then check the button that says "Open first image to apply settings" that the only jpeg that is produced with the updated RAW settings is the first image. All the other images look like they have been processed using the default settings. I never had any problems with this in CS2 and this is pretty much the main reason I use Bridge. Any ideas on what's going on here?

I have replicated the problem (on a Mac), but haven't found anything about it yet. You know it's going to be a really simple "duh" solution.

(update) Running Image Processor directly from PS does the same thing. So I don't think it is a Bridge issue

No one else has run into this problem?

I finally got a word back from Adobe and they said they saw the same problem and it must be a bug and have escalated the problem to get fixed. I hope they hurry up since Bridge is pretty much worthless to me if I can't batch process images with it. That's the main thing I use it for.

Keep us posted it Adobe comes back with anything else.

You may already know this - if so, someone else might find it helpful:
You can open multiple files simultaneously in Camera Raw, adjust one then hit the synchronize button. It puts you most of the way there.

There is always Lighroom!
