HELP changing TIFF to JPEG - 11-04-2007, 08:04 PM

How can I do a bunch of these at one time? I have processed them all and just need to convert to Tiff for their book, is there a way to do this with bridge or something else?
TIA

you can create an action by saving one in PS and then doing the batch process and saving to the folder

Oh crap ok thanks Nathan I have never made an action before.
Would I just open one of them tell it to start action and then save as a Jpeg and then close it and tell it to stop recording?

make sure that all the pictures are in the same directory then create a new action call it tiff conversion under default actions, open the first one then save as and choose tiff then stop recording
with no file open to to file then automate then batch then choose the source folder then check the override buttons as well as the supress buttons then click OK that should do it in therory anyway lol it did work on mine tho
good luck

Thanks David I think that is what I did. I had to do it twice though cause I forgot to tell it to close as I am on a laptop and it would crash if I had 100 files open lol.
But I opened, changed it to 8 bit, then save as, kept same file name but as Jpeg and then close. It appears to be working. I am so excited as this is so quick compared to everything else I have done lol.
Thanks again

I am learning that lol, I had elements before so I missed out on a lot.
DH keeps bitching that it takes me to long. But I can usually process 100-150 a day, that is with homeschooling, going to the gym, being on here, cooking, cleaning etc.... I think I am doing pretty good lol.
