colors changed??

This is a discussion on colors changed?? within the Post Processing Central forums, part of the Photography Information category; I'm trying to figure out how to change the opacity on the background without making it go from the blue ...

I'm trying to figure out how to change the opacity on the background without making it go from the blue of the cheer uniform to the purple. Any suggestions. I've shown one photo with 100% opacity and one with the opacity I like, but when printed it looks purple. Ick!!

Select the layer that you changed the opacity on and hit Ctr -U. Adjust the hue, sat, and lightness to taste.
