CS3 program error - 11-29-2007, 06:37 PM

Can anyone tell me why it would start doing this?
It lets me open the first pic fine and then it says it can't open the file due to a program error?
Any suggestions?

Breezy, I experienced a similar issue - short story is that I tracked it down to a corrupt printer driver for the default printer (quick check would be to change your default printer to another printer and see if the problem goes away).

FYI, there is another thread on this topic that started today - http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=62373

Breezy, there are two other steps that the Adobe tech support will suggest:
1. Resetting the preferences for CS3 (Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop)
2. Set up a new user account on the computer (with admin rights) and then try CS3 and see if you get the same error (or not).

If you can't print anything (outside of CS3), then there appears to be an issue with all the print drivers you have installed.

OK thanks John
I can't get anything to print on this computer for some strange reason. They said it has to do with Vista.

Vista - ohh. That's one OS that still has some compatibility issues. I do not have any experience to speak of on the Vista OS. There are a few forum members that are running this and CS3, so maybe one them will have a suggestion of two that will help.

NP thanks again Jonh.
I rebooted the computer and turned off all of the start up crap and it is working fine now.
I guess I need to shut the computer down more than 2 times a month lol
