Lightroom questions ? - 12-03-2007, 12:12 AM

Can someone tell how to save and export a photo after you open and edit in LR ? I editted a photo and like what i see, I want to save it as a jpg to post later and I tried to export to cs2 and it showed but will not give the jpg option. As you can see I just got LR today and i am lost! Any help would be great!

Hi Chris,

Someone else might know a better way but from within Lightroom try File>Export, then under File Settings, change the format to JPG. You can also change the destination folder.

Or from CS2, try Image>Mode>8 Bits/Channel, then try File>Save as, and JPG should be an option.

File-->export

then a dialog box pops up, pick folder, filename, quality, file settings, etc.. at the very bottom is "Post Processing" there you can select "open in cs2"

Oh, make sure you have the latest upgrade.. I think it's 1.3....

What's the original file format you're working with? Raw?

CTRL+SHIFT+E

In the FILE SETTINGS/Format dialog, change the type to JPEG.
