Yesterday -- my bride for tonight called me to ask when she could pick up her portrait for tonight...
What??
Apparently, she sent me an e-mail two weeks ago, saying she wanted an 11x14 print of one of her bridal portraits for her reception. But -- whoops! It was still in her Draft box...it never got sent...
Okay...this was 2 pm -- Millers had already cut off overnight orders because of a snowstorm. BWC wanted over $70 for a rush job on an 11x14.
What to do...?
I remembered visiting a new place in downtown McKinney (near where we had the Tricoast Workshop) a few weeks ago that does imaging -- Imaging On The Square. They do watercolor giclee prints in addition to canvas and some other materials, I think...plus a full framing shop...they do it all there...
Ernest Martin and his son, Mark, own the place...
The prices are seriously off-the-wall PHENOMENAL...seriously...
An 11x14 watercolor giclee was $12 -- TWELVE DOLLARS!!??
And it looks beautiful...exquisite, even...
A TWO-INCH (extra deep) 16x20 wrapped gallery canvas is $57 including printing, stretching and spraying!!!! FIFTY-SEVEN dollars?! They also do a one-inch as well...that is a bit cheaper...
They also have smooth matte fine art paper as well...
This place is over-the-top-cool...
And they ship everywhere...
This is a seriously great find for photographers...
