Photoshop Lightroom - 12-27-2007, 06:16 PM

I currently have Photoshop version 7, I dont know if the money would be better spent to purchase the latest version of Photoshop or Lightroom. I have read some interesting things about Lightroom.

To give you a bit of background my wife and I about to start a side business of printing and selling my images. Any input on which software would be best would be great.

Regards, Colby

i personally love using lightroom - and rarely use photoshop these days unless i'm cutting people out or fixing complexions.

there is an edit function in lr - that allows you to pull a photo into photoshop - and then it stacks the edited version there in LR. you can use ps7 as well.

i'd download the trial for lightroom and give it a test whirl. you already know ps - so..

How do you sharpness your photos if you rarely use photoshop?

I love Lightroom as well. It has a 30 day free trial where Lightroom is fully functional. Download it and give it a whirl. It won't cost you anything.
