I tried a sample of the Harman a while back. Detail, DMAX, and gamut were incredible, some of the sharpest prints I've seen, and the prints had incredible depth. But the surface is too glossy for my tastes, and it also scratches very easily.

I've decided to give the Hahnemule a try, I have a box on its way from InkJet Art. I'm hoping it will have the positive qualities of the Harman paper without the negatives.

Talk about thread resurrection...

I've settled on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta as my semi-gloss/glossy paper. It doesn't have the mirror-like surface of the Harman, so glare isn't as much of a problem, and I like the paper's surface, thickness, and feel. The Photo Rag Baryta doesn't have the bighteners found in Fine Art Baryta so it's just slightly warmer which I also prefer (and should also mean better print life).

I didn't care for the Ilford paper. It was thin and cheap-feeling compared to the Hahnemuhle and I didn't like the surface as much.
