For my tastes, something in between would be better.
Also...it may be only me, but the 'horizon' doesn't look quite right! (????)

Thanks | | | |

Thanks | Yeah. To me the stadium looks downhill to the right.
I am forever correcting my own pictures for the same sort of 'camera angle' thing. I am sure that I was holding the camera level when i snapped the picture, but when I look at on my monitor it looks 'off'! I suppose it is a Lens Distortion thing that happens with some lenses under certain shooting angles/conditions, kind of like tall buildings that tip off plumb (narrower at the top) when shooting them at an up angle.
I have been supersensitive to the horizon ever since 'RailPictures' rejected a photo of mine because the 'Horizon was Off'. (but then, they reject far more than they accept!!!!!)
No one else seems to be bothered, so it is just me......!
Detailing My Take on the two versions....The first picture definitely needs some "punch", but the blue in the second seems unnaturally strong to me. That is why I said "something in between".

Somewhere in between.
My first reaction was the horizon is off. But I'm pretty sure that it's an optical illusion caused in part by the angle of the walkway in the stadium

Love the contrast in the 2nd one, this to me shows off your creative side, if you are lookin for a more natrual effect I would so some where in between... but my first reaction was the 2nd one it just captured my attention the strong contrast in color!

I like the bottom half of the bottom image. The sky in the bottom image looks overdone IMO.

but, since you asked for an honest opinion, the image is tilted clockwise. if you're unsure that it looks that way because of leading lines in the foreground, just find something - like the concrete structure - that has elements you know should be vertical. correct that and let the horizontals fall where they may.
the image also doesn't seem sharp, but that may be a resolution thing. finally, if it were my image, i'd lose most of the foreground. i think the story here is about the contstruction, and the street doesn't add a lot to that.
remember, however, my opinion is worth what you paid for it!

norm- in all honesty, i would reshoot, if i were you.
try different time of day, we've been having some awsome sunrise and sunset lately.
try different p.o.v. to add perspective and depth to the shot.
if possible, get closer to the stadium.

I think I'd take the first, paste the second as a new layer over it, and set the opacity of the second layer at about 60% and call it done.
In other words, somewhere between... also think the horizon looks funny, but you're right, its probably just the angle you shot it.
