watermarking? - 01-10-2008, 08:25 PM

So as far as watermarking goes... is it just putting text/image on the photo your marking and adjusting the size and "color"? Is there some handy way in photoshop to do it that I'm just oblivious to (like most things in photoshop )

Also I figure its probably personal preference, but does anyone have suggestions as far as the size and placement?

I know this is a kinda silly question, but have at it!

Nice... Thanks for the info.
I've been trying to make an action, but never seems to get it right. This is so much better.

my lap top does not have a num lock key probably because there is no number pad, but I found the character map in vista and copied it from there. Thanks

Google is your friend but I had to put alt characters in the "with the exact phrase" section and Vista in the "with all of the words" section so it took a little longer than usua. lNo number pad? Oh... it has the numbers in the IOP/JKL/BNM letters I bet. So you have to hold keys down with your nose to use it.

Glad it worked!

Back in Windows 3.0 days, "Character Map" was inside Accessories group. I don't remember when it was dropped, but it is still included up until XP (not sure about Vista), just does not have any short cuts anywhere.
What you can do is:
* Open a Run dialog box or even DOS Command Prompt,
* Type: charmap
* Hit Enter key or click on OK button and it will bring up the Character Map application.
Double click on the characters that you want to use and it will copy it into the clipboard, then you can paste it anywhere you can type.

For Macs, the © symbol is mapped to ALT+G.
