UPDATE>>matching colors - 01-15-2008, 05:31 PM

Before I get any further and go back to change some things, I need to know this question. I don't know if you can tell, but the blacks on the background don't match. One black for the background of the business card, and one for each photo. Unfortunately they weren't shot in RAW...so I'm trying to decide the best way to match the blacks and not leave strips in the middle. Suggestions?

I can't get the *&^% small enough to put on here??? I flattened it and I'm down to 1.3 by 2.3 inches and it is still 580 some...what's up with that????

What the heck am I doing wrong??? I started this with a small file to begin with 300 dpi and pixels were 1088 by 638. I have taken it down to 72 dpi and 100 x whatever. and it still says it is almost 500 and of course we can only be 300. It is so pixelated, you probably couldn't even figure out what it was?? I've flattened all the photos and made it a JPEG-------what the heck????????????

Ok...I could never get the res low enough to post...and I'm tired of messing with it. Picture the business card..black...take one photo with a black backdrop and put it mostly to the left...take another black backdrop photo and put it mainly on the right. Now in the middle is three different color blacks. (the two photos don't meet in the middle). So can I get all the blacks to mesh???

OMG.....Thanks James...I still think I owe you a drink....oh wiseman...I mean oh wise one, figured out it was in CMYK which was that way from the print company....so now I believe we have it!!!!!! Man what a workout!!! So now you see what I mean about the colors of the backgrounds. One of my monitors shows the difference, the other does not. So what do your correctly calibrated monitors see??? and how can I fix it, if you see a difference??

I have edited a few things from the this version...I know Iknow...move the left photo over..
