PSE Brush Question - 01-18-2008, 07:10 PM

Been playing with adding a copyright with the Brush command. Created it, saved it, and it works. But how do I set it? Everytime I grab the brush and click on the pic, it's there but the only thing it'll do is sit there and shimmer. Nothing I do attaches it to the pic.

What am I missing here? This has got to be so simple, why is so difficult?

What layer is it on? Have you tried it on a new layer? Are the brushes set back to default?

Default layer, haven't tried creating a new layer. Using the brush is no problem, it will appear on the pic. But it only does the shimmer? Like it's wanting me to select something else? If I try to save the pic, nothing! It saves the pic, but no copyright.

Tested creating a new layer, same thing. Even the default brushes do it. What am I missing here?

I'm stumped, nothing I do will allow me to use ANY brush. I can draw with them, but they all become just a shimmer and I cannot apply them.

Any ideas?

All right, I figured out what is happening. I just don't know where the setting is to change it back?

When I apply a brush, it is just outlinning the brush, then I go to Edit > Fill Layer, and choose a color. Then the brush stroke is colored in.

It never did that before tonight, so anybody know where the settings is located for this?
