Question Batch Processing- Converting RAW in CS2- HELP! - 02-06-2008, 03:00 PM

So, I'm not real familiar with PS, my brother has CS2 on his mac, and i'm working on alot of pictures I took at a friends wedding on his computer since I don't have a computer with the power to do such things.
I've processed all the RAW pictures, and they all have 'sidecar' files associated with them, and one by one I can save them as a JPEG, but I can't figure out how to batch process the entire folder to convert all the sidecar files into JPEG's.
I have close to 350, so you can see why i'd like to know the steps to streamline this process.
I also realize you're supposed to record an action and so on. But when I do that, it go's through each file without saving them.
Does somone know the steps to do what I'm talking about?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Sam

It is already built in!

Select all images in Bridge that you want to process and convert to JPG. With all of them selected, (in Bridge) go to TOOLS>PHOTOSHOP>IMAGE PROCESSOR

That will open a dialog up in Photoshop. In that Dialog, you will want to un-checked the Open first image to apply settings (as you have already done this individually) 2. Save in Same location (it will make a new folder called JPEG 3. Check Save as JPEG, resize if you want and enter the size you decide (or not) set the quality, and if these are for web viewing, check convert Profile to sRGB for the proper color.

If you want a PSD and/or a TIFF as well, check those boxes. 4. if you have a watermark action, you can run that; check include ICC profile (or not) and click RUN in the top right hand corner.

Little while later, you will have your JPEGs without opening and saving each one.

Sweet! Thanks a bunch. I'm going to try that out ASAP.
I knew there had to be an easier way!
