I have been playing with picasa since downloading it a week ago and I have also been trying to fool around with GIMP. I had no idea this stuff was even out there and am really eager to learn! Looking for any ideas or suggestions. I guess I should clone that yellow pole and car out of there!    |

Since you mentioned Picasa and GIMP you may want to take a look at one called Pixia. |
