Putting a border on photos

This is a discussion on Putting a border on photos within the Post Processing Central forums, part of the Photography Information category; Is there a way to automatically put a border on photos? I have CS3 and Elements....

You can use an action.

There's a border action in the default action that you can copy from.

Do you have your answer?
Are you talking about a white border?
You can use layer styles for an easy color border.

www.atncentral.com/downloads has several actions you can use until you figure out what style you like best and then can make your own action.

For about 10 bucks you can by a PS script called Mike's Framer. It's very configurable and comes with a batch function. Just search on "Mike's Framer CS3" and you should be able to find it.
