PS CS3 EXIF Camera Data Input ??? - 03-11-2008, 12:22 PM

How do you import the original EXIF Camera Data into a picture file info when it was lost due to a photomerge using PS ???
Never really realized it before but the Photomerge strips this data.
I have CS3 and elements 2.0 and used both in making the masterpeice ...

Abel ... Gee ... How do you determine the picture was shot in xxx year for the xxx year photo contest if the EXIF data is striped in the Photomerge process ???

Any sugestions ???

BreezeBrowser (payfer, Windows only) has the ability to copy the EXIF from one image to another. I thought Photo Mechanic could too, but just looked and didn't see a way. I would imagine ExifTool can too, since it can do just about anything with EXIF :-)
