I think I would have them come back. She looks all tensed up or "posed". Not ready for a kiss.

Made it a little warmer and lowered the midtones and shadows.

Yeah, these were just dinner guests... just playing around... next time they come over maybe i will give it another try...

if they come back, try pulling them further from the fence and bringing the light around to about 15 degress right of camera centerline and just above his eye level. you've got a lot of shadow on his face but not hers, and i'm assuming you want them more evenly lit.

thanks all for the ideas.

i will try to pay attention more to the light on their faces.. Seems obvious but i guess i didn't see that.
