Previous experience tells me this will break my "mogrify" plug-in. I'll pass for now. Good info though. I do appreciate the post.

Not to leave current customers hanging that might have these issues now since version 2 final is months away.

• Additional camera support for the Canon EOS 450D (Digital Rebel XSi/EOS Kiss X2), Nikon D60, Sony A350 and more
• Updated printer driver compatibility for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Yeah, they have to keep updating with these patches until the new version since all the proprietary RAW formats are not inherently compatible with released versions without a patch.

Therefore, if someone buys a new camera today and it isn't compatible with their software, then they are losing out on a customer.

For most of us with the software already and complete compatibility, unless a release like 1.3 comes out, we probably will not update.

I just installed 1.3 from 1.0 lol. Don't really use Lightroom though. I'll probably pass on the upgrade right now.

so far, so good here. It did seem to improve response time over 1.4 and I haven't had any issues with the Lightroom datafiles getting corrupted like I did when I upgraded from 1.3 to 1.4. Installed on PC and Mac.
