when you zoom in and look at some of the details you start to see the amount of detail that is actually put in on those images.

I was zoomed in on one eye and realized that he was filling out the eye lashes. At "see all" level, never noticed... zoomed in.. you can see the addition of some lashes... zoomed back out and you can start to see the small things.

He is starting with already great photographs... he's adjusting and filling in to make the "perfect" image.

just some rambling thoughts...

Very cool work. Site is simple and complicated at the same time. Very effective actually. It will filter out those that won't take time to look at it and those that enjoy his work. But from the client list, a lot of people took the time...

it's pretty unfair what you can do when you start with a 39 mp image from a hasselblad!!

those things make my mk3 look like a point and shoot....

There's arrows, a sign appears to tell you to slide the slider, and if you click on the image it enlarges it to full size. Click again and it goes back to the smaller size. That's not too hard to figure out.

True enough. I figured it out with only minimal trouble, but the arrows themselves seemed to shift as I moved the mouse over them. It was tedious and I got bored with it quickly. The work itself is impressive, however.

lots of interesting commentary here. i personally think the evidence of how good he is lies largely in the fact that without these progressive views, you wouldn't think he did anything!
