Collage - oh my! - 04-26-2008, 05:06 PM

I did a photoshoot with my daughter-in-law and her brother for Mother's Day gifts. One thing she asked for was a 24x20 collage that looked like "you tossed a bunch of pics on a table". What do you think? She picked the pics to be included (may be too many) and she wanted them processed in different ways. She also wanted "fun pics" that really showed their personality and interaction. What do you think - honest opinions are more than welcome. I won't be able to show her until this evening so anything you can suggest is appreciated.

honest. I dont believe that all images match. you need to lighten or darken some. other than that. it's all working and very well at that.

I'm not sure I'm following you. All of the images are processed differently, per request, so they are not intended to "match".

I like the layout and can get past the repeating lines of the red wall background. The one thing I find a bit distracting is the plaid shirt. My 2 cents.

I see what you are saying. We were in three different locations but only two shirt changes. I HATE plaids in pics and told them as much but what do you do? That is why I added the red wall; because it was a plain white shirt.

Might you try the old white photo border on all of them... then perhaps do the corner peel with a drop shadow so it looks like one is not quite done falling on the table?

I think it looks good

I actually suggested that and was shot down. I like the borders but my opinion does not count - family. What do you do? Thank you!
