I know to log in to the forum in order to read posts and look at photos in TPF. After I have logged in the first time, I am fine until I go to make my first reply. It tells me I am not logged in when I go to preview what I have written before I submit it as a post. Is this second log in (before my first reply) always necessary in TPF? If it is, I can live with it. I've never seen a second log in needed in the other forums (ones for cross stitching topic) that I have used. TPF is a more professional forum, so I was just wondering if it is "normal" to have to log in twice before placing or previewing my first post for this session?

No this is not normal. Have you check the "keep me logged in" option just below your where you enter you login information?

Not sure if your browser is clearing out your cookies or not when you close your browser, but that could be an issue also

No, I have not, but I did check it for this session, so I'll see if I can post this message without a 2nd log in to the Forum.
