Question textures - 05-06-2008, 12:23 AM

Can someone point me in the direction of a good site for free texture plugins that can be used in elements 5? I've been searching the web but not finding anything.

bluman95 posted a link for textures.

Here's the post he started: http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=74270

I found the following link yesterday and most of these should work with elements 5. I've NOT checked thelink out thoroughly just a cursory look.

What do you mean by plug-in? I think you can use textures in elements, you have the ability to use layers right? Textures are simply images taken of things with texture (wood, cement, rust, etc).

I'm not familiar with elements, but I posted a video in the video vault about textures. you might check it out!

Christie:

A plug-in is something like a third party item that will function in another program. This isn't the best answer.

Virtual Photographer is a plug-in that works with most of the Adobe Photoshops/Elements.

After downloading it is placed in the plug-in folder. The when working PS/Elements you apply to the image the special features of that plug-in like a sepia.
