Batch Processing/Action - How Do I... - 05-06-2008, 10:40 AM

Hi, I did a search but turned up fruitless.
I have a bunch of RAW wedding images with similar lighting/color, so I'll be able to adjust white-balance all at once in a batch process. I also want to add noise reduction and USM, then save it as a JPEG. Can I make an action that does all this to all the files in a folder while I eat a sandwich or something?
I'm using my brother's MAC and PS CS2.
If you guys can help me, Thanks so much in advance!
Sam

P.S. I'll be posting the gallery in the "Weddings" Forum after I get all this done...

I also use CS2. Under File click "Scripts". In there is "Dr. Brown's 1-2-3 Process." With this you can do batch processing of an entire folder of images. You can go from one format to another and do things like resizing and running actions. You could set up an action for your sharpening and have it run as part of your batch process.

Dr. Brown's site has some pretty nice tutorials. You will need to scroll down to the CS2 section.
