I just got it too and I totally agree. I think my pictures are much better now LOL. Lightroom makes me a better photographer! ROFL
I havn't really got the hang of saving things yet. I guess If you go to the folder in the "my pictures" you don't get the lightroom adjustments?? ....You h ave to export them to have the adjustments in the "my pictures" folder? I don't always want to open lightroom to take it into PS or email them.
Am I just doing it wrong?

Some may not like his "quirky" sense of humour and writing style but Scott Kelby's book's;
"The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book" and "The Adobe Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers" are real good tools for learning.

Search the web for tutorials and such. If you're a member of NAPP, they have some wonderful LR resources. I'm getting ready to try the Print module as soon as I decide on an image to print. I'm curious to see what it can do.

Remember: Lightroom is non-destructive. If you go in one direction with your processing & hate it, hit RESET and the image goes back to Zero.
Export is the key to saving your editing as a new file. Check all of the little windows for all of the parameters that need to be set for Export. You can also save your favorite Export settings as a personal Preset.
Download Lightroom 2.0 Beta for more fun. You can print to a file for later printing or printing somewhere else.
