Can you still purchase Photoshop CS2? - 05-17-2008, 05:39 PM

I recently got a new computer and went to transfer all my old software and files to it. I have both CS2 and CS3 but can't find the install CD for CS2. I tried copying it from my old computer but I don't see an application icon and when I open the program it says my serial # is missing and closes. The reason I need CS2 is because CS3 bridge still does not work properly for processing large numbers of images. Is there anywhere that still sells CS2? There is no way I'm gonna go through every image of a wedding and process it individually.

Instead of bridge on cs2 -- and shelling out the money that would require, have you looked at lightroom... it's like bridge on steroids.

It may not be for you, but before you spend money on stepping kinda backwards, I thought I would at least throw out an alternative.

Will it also batch process RAW files or just jpeg?

For the most part Light Room is a Camera Raw processor. ( jpeg and tiff are bonus) It is the same Camera Raw that is in Photoshop. If you like Bridge, you will most likely love Light Room. Download the free demo from Adobe and try it out..
