he lost me when he spelled 'diffrent' incorrectly....i hate that! and no, no upgrade here, lightroom is my main program these days, and good old cs3 will more than adequately handle my creative needs.

Same here. I'm finding myself spending most of my processing time in LR, going to PS only for needed finishing touches or special stuff. I have no plans to upgrade to CS4.

One of the new features that Adobe was working on was previewed at Photoshop World (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3ybu...ature=related). There was some speculation that CS4 would be out in October, but the guys from NAPP (Dave Cross, Scott Kelby, Matt K) have all indicated that Adobe has told them CS4 is a long ways off - indicating most likely an April 2009 release.
