Removing dust orbs?

A friend sent me the picture below and asked if it would be possible to remove all of the orbs. I have photoshop 9, but my level of expertise is about low-medium (mostly just level adjustments). Is this something I could do, or is it a lost cause? Note: the original is 1396x798, so a little easier to deal with.

that's a lot of orbs....best bet is to learn the clone tool. take your time, and get comfortable with the undo key.

That's what I figured. I have done some similar cloning, just not on this scale. Not that it matters, but my friend just told me it was actually water on the lens from a mister.

Try the healing brush or just masque out the back ground and build one out of the good brick on the left and put it in.

Thanks for the tips. I actually ended up using the clone tool in ACDSee 8, and it worked out fairly well.
