I am currently proposing a deal with a Dallas based Jewlery company to remove backgrounds out of their images for a flash website. they are giving me the option on how much to charge...does anyone have any Ideas about how much per image? I will be using my own computer at home..on my spare time...i was thinking around $10-15 per image?

The $10-15 per image sounds reasonable unless you are as bad at photoshop as I am . I couldn't afford to spend that much time on each image at that price ...

If you are good, and can finish up a shot in let's say 15 minutes or less, $15/per shot would be $60/hr.

Depends on the backgroud of the images. You may have to do a little more than remove backgronds. Sometime the backgroud affects the color of the subject in some areas. You may have to do some touch up here a there. But your price seems with in reason. I would be more likely to charge $15.00 to $20.00 per image. But hate to make a quote with out reviewing the images.

Have you tried it with any of their images to get an idea of how long it will take you?
