Nikon RAW files - 07-08-2008, 11:09 PM

Ok, I'm trying to share my Nikon RAW files with a Canon shooter. She can view them as "temp files" but is not able to open in CS2. What options do we have? I don't have a problem opening them in CS2. Is there a setting that needs to be changed for her?

She might need to update her CS2??? It's not a Nikon/ Canon thing with Adobe, it's how new is your camera and how updated is your software.....

Yeah, it's most likely an ACR issue (Adobe Camera Raw). If she updates her version of ACR she should be able to view and edit your NEF file no problem.

One other option is to convert the file to DNG (Adobe Digital Negative) format. That should allow her to see/manipulate it under CS2.
