I am looking for someone to help me out with printer calibration. I have a Epson r1800 with a CIS inkset and various papers I use. I am looking for someone who has the means of making me some printer profiles. Anyone here locally have the equipment to do this? I would be willing to pay a small fee for this.

The process is very specific, but the best way to get exact profiles for your printer vs buying the $3,000 colorspectrometer thingymabobbydoodle.

Else, you can download the free paper profiles from the manufacturer's website for the paper you are using. If you are using Epson paper (and it is a really good paper), you should be able to get the specific profiles from your installation driver.

If you go aftermarket (i.e. Moab, Ilford, etc...), they have Epson profiles on their websites. The only thing is, every printer is a tad different and the best way is a custom profile like Cathy provides.

Yeah I have read about cathy's profiles, I just was looking for someone local to do this hoping to save a little money.

The ink's I use are not the epson inks, so any profile out there by paper makers won't work :(
