Photoshop CS3 help!!!!

I am having problems erasing an adjustment layer in PS CS3. The eraser tool is set to 100% and the layer is not locked. I have checked my other user account on this exact computer, and it works just fine.

Any suggestions???

I can try to help.
Have you tried changing the background color. When I create an adjustment layer and try to erase with my background color set to white it does nothing. Unless you fill the entire adjustment layer with black.
Also be sure the nothing is selected...sometimes a very small selection can cause problems.

make sure the layer you are erasing is on top of the palette...above the background image (original image)...

I have it figured out. I did not realize that the color of the foreground/background mattered for the eraser tool, and once I changed that, it worked again!
