Define Brush Preset Question - 08-02-2008, 01:55 PM


I am trying to make my logo a brush preset. I have succesfully set it up in gray scale, however I cannot figure out how to keep it in color. Please help

Hi Mike,

Not 100% sure, but I think you can't define a brush in color. Whatever is not white will become the "bristles". Think of it as a real brush. You have to prepare your palette and assign it color every time you use it.

Not sure where you got the guidance on doing this, however, you don't need to set it up in gray scale since you can pick any color you want for your brush via Alt-select a color, or change the foreground color.
