Batch Watermarking Software for Mac Needed.

I have been using a Program for the Mac called 'iWatermark' for quickly adding a watermark to batches of images.

I have just discovered that this program is increasing the file sizes of my images, significantly in many cases! It can make a folder of images 25% larger in file size after the watermarking. Images less than 8MB in size before watermarking become a full 8MB after, and images above 8MB are transformed into 16MB images afterwords. Either 8 or 16MB, one or the other!!! CRAZY!

Does anyone know of any other software for the Mac that can batch watermark, and properly scale the watermark to the image?

I use FastStone Photo Resizer on my PC. I don't know if it is Mac compatible but I like it a lot.

I watermark my images in lightroom in the print module.

I have now heard back from the iWatermark author, but his message did not make a lot of sense to me so I have asked for more details.

Here is what he said.......

Change the quality of the saved images down to about 60%. It happens
because the original images are not saved at 100%, so they equal <
8mb, but when iWatermark saves its images its created a 100% quality
file which creates a much larger file.

Does this make sense to anyone?
My original images ARE saved at highest possible quality! 100%

I'd say just make a photoshop action (if you have PS)

I have a photoshp action that will allow you to do that. Let me find out when I get home.

Of course you have to have cs2 or newer.
