So, I took a few pics of my 3 year old yesterday...here is one that I liked. I'm posting the original and then 2 other versions of the same pic....Does the post-processing add to the pic or detract from it?? if so, which pp work is best? I can't decide...I think I lean to #2.

I prefer the original as well. The other two PP don't seem to add anything to me, but this would be a personal preference, not a technical one.

I prefer #2.
Is it done with Midnight Sepia? If so, I have found that sometimes the effect is too strong, so I layer it over the original and lower the opacity. | | | |

Thanks for you input. I just re-read my original post, and noticed my typo. I think I actually prefer the feel of #3. I appreciate you all looking at my work...:)

I like number two as well. I have always liked that affect and most of my clients will usually pick a midnight black or midnight sepia version over a straight color one if given the option.

I love #3. That's just me that I love fade colors. Then again first one is awesome as well.

Rachel,
it's actually a combination of midnight sepia and barely vintage :) You know your stuff...can't wait to be that good :)
