Is the National Association of Photoshop Professionals of any value to a non-professional user? Is it worth $99/yr? I keep getting solicitations for membership, but I was wondering if this is cost effective and I'm sure that varies with each individual.

I think it is. The PS User magazine, merchant discounts (e.g., free three-day shipping with B&H), and tutorials have all made it well worth $8.25/month for me.

Definitely. Tutorials, forums, tips, monthly magazine (well, 10 each year), etc.

Been a member for two years and I think its worth it, when you buy plugins/software you get nice discounts pretty much getting your money back for membership.
