Question File Type Conversion - 11-01-2008, 05:37 PM

Is there a way either in Bridge or CS2 to batch convert all file extensions. I have inadvertently saved them as jpg's in Bridge and wanted them to be tiff's. I have so many of them I was wondering if I could convert them all at once instead of one at a time as I work on them.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sharon

I'm skeptical that converting your .jpegs back to .tiffs is going to accomplish what you think it will. You will not be able to recover the information that was discarded when you converted to .jpegs.

If I'm wrong, I'll be scolded, and will go back to reading about how these formats are structured.

If you have the original RAW files you'll have to rework them all and resave as .tiffs. I think that is your only viable option.
