Yes...The Mac Version. Mac software is .app instead of Windows .exe's.
You should be able to download the latest Mac DPP version from the Canon website.

Some software that is available for windows is cross platform where the same key will unlock either version. Check the website.
To cross platforms with Photoshop, you will have likely to contact Adobe for permissions (key), but they will let you do it.

Yes.. both versions are on the disc.

BTW: Just because you buy a Mac doesn't mean you've gone over. It just means you have another PC available with a different OS. I use Windows and OSX OS's on my PC's.

If you don't like your Mac lappy, send my way! JK JK It will work for sure, just as long you download "Mac" not window. Good luck.

DPP works very well on a Mac!

Only issue you might have is whether your version of DPP is new enough for your operating system. But it's easy enough to get an update.

Yeah.. you need the original disk. Just put it in.. It'll mount.

If it doesn't automatically load an install screen, you may need to double click the install package. You'll figure it out. It's simple.

Something to note about your mac and installations. Many applications come in DMG format (disk image). Basically, when you double click a DMG file, it'll "Mount" what looks like a new folder/disc/hard drive... From there, you just click into it as you would opening a drive letter in Windows. When you're done, you "eject" that mounted "folder/etc.."

Check here,
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...wnloadIndexAct

You'll have to go through the menu for your model camera. The latest version will be there unless your CD is relatively new and contains the latest version.

Check the Canon site for the software. The only thing you may need to dig up will be serial number. I googled the software and it looks like there is an OS X version.
