ok so im playing with the aperture2 free trial, on my Macbook,
ive played with a pic, cropping ect,,,
and for the life of me,
i cant find out where on this program ,,to save image,,

am i missing something,
or is that part omited from the trial version???

or is it so simple im missing it???
new to this Mac-Apple stuff,

Depending on the pref settings it will save in the library and be reflected in the preview - you then export the "version" to photoshop or whichever external app if you want to use one.

This is from memory of limited use to date - at work where the MBP doesn't have Aperture... :-(

I am assuming that you mean save image after editing it?

The good news is you are not missing anything! When you make changes with Aperture they are recorded in metadata and the image file never actually changes, this is a constant process so every time you do something it records the changes. But never has to create a new image file.

When you export an image it then applies all those changes to the file and creates a new image file.

There are many other situations that it might create a new image file but this is the simple answer, basically there is 1 image and a record of what you did to that image within Aperture.
