I'm still using CS3. Photoshop CS4 has this one awesome new feature. It's called Content Aware Scaling. I have a photo that I would like to use for a little league yearbook we are designing. The photo is in landscape position and yearbook cover is in the portrait position. After re-sizing the photo, there is to much empty space near the top of the cover.

Would somebody that is using Photoshop CS4 please take my photo and use Content Aware Scaling to add more sky to the photo so it fill the entire cover? I'll upload a full size photo to my server for you to download. Plus I'll provide you with all the dimensions.

Check out these two videos to learn how to use Content Aware Scaling

http://av.adobe.com/russellbrown/Con...reScale_SM.mov
http://www.photoshopsupport.com/phot...cs4-video.html

It shouldn't take but 10 minutes maximum to convert the photo.

I wish I could afford just Photoshop CS4 right now, but it looks like I'll have to save up my pennies and purchase it sometime next year.

Please contact via PM. Thank you very much.

You are aware that you can download a fully functional trial version and use it for 30 days, right? It runs side-by-side with CS3 and you won't touch your original running software.

Check the Adobe web site for details...

Dude...I just watched the video! That is super cool! Now I see why you are begging for somebody to use it! Putting that on the want, not the need list.

Sonny,

I just saw this post, sorry for the slow response. Should you need a further hand let me know. Appreciate you posting the links, I see some helpful uses for this, eospecially when I forget to leave some "crop" room in my viewfinder and need to resize a portrait to an 8x10 or 5x7. I think it will help in that situation.

I just got CS4 about a month ago, hadn't explored this tool until reading the post. This is one of the coolest features I have ever seen.
