I think there are alot of Photographers using these books. Can someone give the me insight on the books and how much they cost?

1.) Where can I have them printed( I used WHCC for a Press Printed book and the pages were paper thin and not great quality)
2.) How much do they cost for a 10 x10 or a 8x10!( I have used TAPPS Self MOunt albums for some time and love them but My Clients want something MOre)
3.) Templates--- Do you have to buy the templates for the wedding Albums of are they laid out for you in the ROES!

I am not sure what books you are referring to in your comment. Could you clarify?
There are tons of album companies out there. Most supply a software program at no or little cost that you can use to layout the book. Most of those programs are pretty basic. I use PS to layout my pages so I can be very creative. I then have my lab print the prints. After I have good prints I send them off to what ever album company I am using; Art Leather, Fobeyon, etc.

You may want to go to an PPA association meeting or convention to see and compare many companies.

I do all of my albums through Miller's. I just happened to get an album in last night...I've attached some photos of the details. This is a lay flat album with a canvas cover.

Are the pages thick like boards or are they like sheets of paper!

On this particular album, they are not thin pages like a library book, they are thicker pages that could stand up by themself. If you look closely at one of the shots, you can tell how stiff they are. But, they are not as thick as what comes in a hinged album (also not as costly either though).

The one shown is a 10x10....they have all sizes though. You can also order samples at 25% off. It's not available through ROES.....use Remote Studio or online ordering.

I've not done too many albums but when I have I've used KISS www.kissweddingbooks.com and been real happy. They don't do ROES so you have to layout the album yourself. Here's a post on my blog about them with pictures. For that I use FotoFusion Extreme from Lumapix. It's easy to layout books with this software in my opinion. It's a little pricey but they have different versions at different price levels and if you search a little there are reasonably priced templates available.
