Resize help - 01-20-2009, 09:53 PM

ok I feel like and idiot, but for the life of me i can't get this image to resize as and 8x10.
when I try to resize it I set one side at 8" and the other comes out 11.64" how do I make this image print as an 8x10 sending it to mpix? if I crop it that size it cuts off body parts.

Crop lines may be an answer to assist in framing.

Are black bars an option? Maybe put a nice title at the bottom of the image that says the name of the person/family/place.

I fixed it but it took a lot of effort in photoshop. I am thinking of getting a view screen for my camera that has 8x10 crop lines on it so I don't have this problem anymore. So if anyone knows where I can get one of those for a Canon 40D and how to install it let me know ok.

It's easier just to widen out a bit, then it won't matter if you print it as 8x10, 5x7 or 4x6, or even 3x12 pano......

Does anyone know where you can get crop line put on in the DFW area, and approximate cost. Don't feel like sending camera off?

Contact Scott at croplines.com. He is probably going to be in Arlington for Texas School!

The screen on the 40D is interchangable. Get one from your camera store and send it out for the crop lines.
