ACR 5.2 and CS4 - 01-24-2009, 08:39 PM

I recently upgraded from CS3 to CS4. I had no problems opening RAW files from my 1D Mk III, but I could not get them from my G10.

Thinking that I did not have the latest version of ACR, I downloaded V 5.2 from Adobe. I *think* I installed it correctly. I saw *think* because I've done this before on CS3 with no problems.

However - Bridge does not bring up my CR2 files for display and when I double click on them, I get a message stating PS does not recognize the file.

Running XP with 4 gig of memory.

Just double checked ACR 5.2 and G10 compatibility here. The path for Camera Raw.8bi is :\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-ins\CS4\File Formats My system shows the 5.2 version file to be 10,954 KB in size.
I'm also running XP Pro. Bridge works fine for me. If you've put the file in the right place it would seem there is more to figure out.
