CS3 Action Help... - 02-05-2009, 10:50 AM

I am setting up an action that basically does the following:

1. Duplicates background layer
2. Runs Noise Reduction Filter
3. Runs Magic-Sharp...

Here's where I am running into a snag. For some reason, at the end of the "magic-sharp", the image zooms to 100%...I would love it if the image would revert back to "print size" or "fit image". I tried adding the step in my action at the end..."View-Print Size", but it doesn't carry over into the image. I tried looking at the Magic-Sharp action, but I don't see where to change it there either?!?

Make any sense?!?

In general, UI changes, like the zoom size are not recorded in actions. Best thing I can think of is if you can assign a shortcut key to do what you want. If the filter leaves things at 100%, you might be stuck...

Sorry I'm not more help.

That's what I was afraid of :-(

It's not that big of a deal - just worth asking - one less step in the workflow may not seem like much, but multiplied over 1000 photos = a lot of steps!!!

Thanks Scott!
