I added a mogrify application that adds a watermark overlay on my images upon export. Is that what you're looking for?

Mogrify!! I have no idea what you are saying! I want to add my name and the copyright C thing to my photos I post on the net or print out also I suppose. Sorry but I can take pics all day long but when it comes to computers I'm a big dummy. I'm following instructions now right outta the book and they show an example with the C and a circle around it like it was typed in off the keyboard. I can't even do that!

I found a program that really works great for resizing, and adding your signature. And it's free. http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDetail.htm

Perhaps I am not asking the question properly. Everyone and their mother post pics here and have added their name and copyright insignia on to their pictures. I'm using LR and assume it has the ability to do this. Looking for tips on how to. I actually just did one in a test and got copyrighted and my name but no C with a circle around it which I assume is important

Are you looking to insure that your photos are copywritten ? You won't need a signature or a copyright symbol to do that. They are automatically copywritten when they are taken. If you want to insure that someone doesn't use them without your permission, you can imprint your name across the subject in the photo. Of course, that detracts from the photo a lot.
If you are looking to add a nice looking signature to your photos because you want people to know who took it, I bet that can be done in LR just as it can in PS.
There's a nice little free program that can do this is three seconds ........nevermind.

Well I am assuming you don't no how to do it in LR and at the same time suggesting a different way, I appreciate that and your thoughts on it but being a computer dummy don't want to download another bit of software and an action to do without first learning what I have. And since the decline of your suggestions seems to have been taken negatively I think I want to again say I appreciate your time. I'm hard headed and want to do in LR and if its not possible I'll then look to other ways.

I'm not sure about lightroom, because I have photoshop, but I think it would be the same in both.
If you open up the text tool, you can open the character map under programs > accessories > system tools > character map and find the copywrite symbol there. Just copy from the character map and paste into lightroom using the text tool, and type your name after that. Or if you prefer you should be able to open the text tool and type 0169 while holding down the alt key and it will make the copywrite sign

Have you checked out Adobe's website?
I found a way to get watermarks/signature on your output from Lightroom from their site.
I'm mobile right now, but I'll post the link when I get home later, if you haven't already found it.
