I did not know where to post these so posting here... if you can think of a better category to post, let me know...

I am trying to learn a new technique of converting pictures into sketches...I found a great action, which I have modified to suit my needs... Let me know what you think...

PaintShop Pro calls the filter/effect "Pencil". If you combine greyscale and "Pencil" you get basically this same result.

Thanks...I did them by modifying an action found on atncentral - Isabel's Pastel Sketch... It is really a marvelous action. Have fun with it...

I initially thought you had DRAWN those images from photos onto an Etch-a-Sketch (I have seen quite remarkable Etch-a-Sketch drawings!) and was quite amazed! Later in the thread I learned it was an effect from PSP so my amazement 'decreased' a bit but I still like the effect. I gotta try it, too. I really like pencil, ink, and charcoal drawings, and especially appreciate the handiwork of artists who can do it by hand. I, unfortunately, will have to do it with PSP.
