My question is actually for anyone that shoots for the media and has to upload their work ASAP.

How/what do you do? Do you tote a laptop with you to an event? I guess I'm worried about it growing feet.

Since I'm not shooting pro sports, I would be taking my gear to the softball/football/baseball field. I'm leary about leaving it in a pile while I am shooting (and no assistant available).

Any help/advice appreciated. I'm just trying to get a better handle on what is involved in getting your pics from the camera to the news outlet/media.

Thanks
Mike

I've never had a problem with leaving my gear in a media room. YMMV

I usually bring two laptops, both with PhotoMechanic. Preset your caption information and you are good to go.

If you are really worried, backpack it and sell enough to get a massage the next day.
