So I shot the below image at Pug Mark Park and as the cat was on the move what happened was that the fence got in front of the lens and created this 'haze' around a portion of the image. I kinda like the image so I tried to remove the haze but couldn't get it to match the clear part of the image without it looking PS'd.

If interested, I'd be curious to hear how you would get rid of the haze part.

Feel free to take a stab at it and post your results as well as maybe a brief summary about how you did it OR if you want to suggest a method of editing that could remove it, I'll be happy to take a stab at it here.

Joe,

I've noticed that when shooting through chain fences that the fence acts like a low contrast filter. To correct that all it took was using Curves in PS very aggressively. In this instance you would need to mask off and blend into the unaffected areas.
